Controversial Allegation of a Village in Malappuram Denying Entry to Non- Muslims ; Claims BJP Historian

Sandeep Balakrishna, a historian and active member of the BJP, has stirred up controversy by alleging the existence of a village in Malappuram where non- muslims are not allowed entry. Balakrishna, who hails from Bangalore and is known for his historical perspectives, made these claims during a recent public appearance.

According to him, there exists a village in Malappuram, Kerala, which operates without adhering to the Indian Constitution and is governed by Islamic laws. He alleges that non-Muslims are barred from entering the village, citing it as a violation of constitutional principles.

Balakrishna stated, “In a village in Malappuram, you will see numerous signboards. It is an Islamic village where non-Muslims are not allowed entry. Only Islamic laws are followed there, which goes against the principles of the Indian Constitution.”

These remarks were made during an interaction facilitated by the YouTube channel T.R.S Clips, which has garnered significant attention due to its controversial content. Balakrishna’s statement has drawn criticism, particularly from the Malayali community, who are now rallying against him.

It is imperative to note that such inflammatory statements, especially during election seasons, are often seen as attempts to capitalize on communal sentiments for political gain by elements within the BJP.

While these allegations have sparked outrage, it remains to be seen whether there is any factual basis to Balakrishna’s claims or if they are merely a part of a larger political agenda aimed at polarizing communities.
